I have moved YPN to the new server, with that I may have lost some items, not for ever mind you... but I am working on the gallery over the next couple of days... and hope to at least get it back up :>

I would like to thank all of the YPN folks who made it out to the 2nd Annual Yuma Metaphysical Faire! It was a fantastic day, with the displays, the I-Ching seminar, both dance companies, and of course, the Fry Bread!
I was truly surprised at the number of people who stopped by the YPN information table. Everyone took flyers, information on what YPN is, what paganism is, and even Spiral Scouts. Lets hope we can get a group up and running for Yuma, that would be fantastic!
Donations for the food bank floored me. There had to be at least 50lbs probably more.
What can I say about the Massage Therapy Class! If you didn't get 'bonged' oh you missed out (hehe).
We were treated to two showings of dancers. The first group was called Banat Tabla - Daughters of the Drum. They were beautiful! The second showing was Jewels of the Desert, and they were indeed Jewels of the Desert :) We have pictures of the showings that will be up soon.
I heard nothing but ravings over the I-Ching seminar. That is one we will have to ask Mr. Clark if he would do again for us.
The energy at WicHaven was electric! Its a beautiful place, and Dinah has put a lot of time and energy making it into something to be extremely proud of. There is a lot of magick happening out there, and I for one was so happy to be a part of it.
Thank you all, and looking forward to the 3rd Annual Yuma Metaphysical Faire, coming October 2008!!

I still think the yard/bake sale idea is a good one, just at someone's house that's in a good location... maybe several of them since I know some of you are in good locations for it. I'm not sure, but considering the comments I read in the Sun article, it could be that people shied away from the yard sale at Dragonfly because of the type of store it is.(sad but often true) This is a good time of year for yard sales because snowbirds are just starting to lite. Besides... it doesn't hurt that people don't know what they are supporting by buying things! *grin* With Halloween coming up ghostly items ought to go well.

Ideas to enhance and uplift the YPN community are VERY welcome!!!
Kudos and pats on the back to participating members of the YPN community are also welcome.
Announcements for activities, sales, promotions and other general information sharing posts should be on the news section of this site or posted on the YPN Yahoo group site.
This Chat is designated for us getting to know each other better and give us a place to let down our hair, so please, make use of it.

My friend Bobbi, a.k.a. Lady Majyk, and I have a group site where we
have been working for nearly a year to help ourselves and others loose
weight and improve our over all health. We've put together quite a
collection of tried and true techniques and information to help anyone
find what they need to help themselves.
So far this year I've lost 50 pounds myself and kept it off.
It's been a wonderful support group and I don't think I could have
done it without the help I've received from there.
If anyone else is interested in joining this group and taking an
active part in your health and wellbeing, go to:

and apply to join.

I'd like to invite everyone here to FreeYuma.com. We have started this website to give the metaphysical and holistic community in Yuma a place for free event posting, and publicity. Please send us info on anything you do!
I'd like to thank Dinah for letting me play at the great MetaFair she put together, too! Even though the parking lot was empty, I had fun jamming!
Thanks!
